Totally Random Costume Ideas

I don’t know. I made these.

That's a Koala Bear (not a mouse, thank you very much) and Tree. Get it? I like hugging.

Also, this is why we’re not dressing up. Besides, I’m always a cat, remember?

Anyhoo, I came up with some other good costume ideas.

He's a manly pirate bear.

She's a sexy pirate lady, of course. It has to go with Popsicle's costume.

She went for a classic ghost costume. Spooky!

And finally, Melissa the Manatee:

What an adorable bumblebee!

I may do more of these next week, because I'm weird like that.  What are YOU dressing up as?

  1. The Kraken. But I'm having trouble with the remote control arms. And children don't actually taste very good what with all the shit parents feed them nowadays.

  2. I'm dressing up as an annoyed person handing out candy to little beggar children.

  3. I'm dressing up as liver disease because I'm surely going to be hungover the next day. If you can actually create a tree costume, that would be absolutely DOPE! Do you know how many puns you could make all night? It would be great! For example, every time he went to the bathroom he could say he's draining the sap.

  5. The kids are going as Avengers, so we have to match as well. The hubs is unaware of this at this time, but he will be the Hulk. I'm gonna be Black Widow, because I'm super sexy like that. :-/ Well, I own black and have the red wig anyway.

  6. First, I want to come trick or wining with you. Second, I like the ghost costume. Lastly, I can't tell you what I'm going to be because I'm working on a post where people have to guess my costume. Get excited.

  7. You could also dress up as a hippie and go around hugging Tree-Boyfriend all night long.

  9. I don't know what I'm dressing up as. I have this horrible habit of waiting until the last minute, and then I end up going as a cowgirl, which isn't much of a stretch for me.

  10. Ok, first. The koala/tree costume is an ahhhhmazing idea! Totally freaking love it! And manatee's costume looks good. Accentuates her curves!

  11. I'm dressing in black because I'll be the crazy lady hiding behind a tree after it gets dark. I shall jump out and scream at all the nasty little children who dare to beg for candy at my house. Life's a real bitch and those brats might as well learn it now.

    Love,
    Janie

  13. I will most definitely take this once a year opportunity to dress as Oprah. I want a basket of little cars on my shoulder so I can throw them at people and scream "YOU GET A CAR!"

  14. Am trying to talk my kids (12 and 15) into being crayons with their friends...so hoping they will need an 8th...or the box they all fell out of (um, crayon box, not whatever other reference that might've conjured up)...they agree the photos of 8 crayons would be fun, but I know there is no way it's happening!

  15. I'm a little disappointed in Manatee. It looks like she may have gone for the Slutty Bumblebee. Or I could just be the hyper-vigilant mother of a 14 year old girl who has to have a major breakdown every year about how they can turn ANYTHING into an inappropriately sexy costume. Ellen
